Once the initial consultation is completed and a treatment plan has been confirmed, a CT scan of the patient’s jaw is recorded using the low-radiation iCAT machine. Nobel Biocare™ 3-D imaging software is then used to assess the patient’s bone structure to determine the areas of implant placement and to create the permanent prosthesis. Finally, the implants and the prosthetic arch of teeth are placed in one short visit.
